MSC History

In 1963 the Council was organized by several clubs in the area to take advantage of group rates for Western and European ski trips.

Today the Midwest Sport/Ski Council (MSC) is open to any interested group wishing to network and create more year-round activities for all their members of this growing umbrella organization. Currently, the MSC has clubs that are represented in more than 15 cities in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Through the Council, many MSC Clubs continue to promote snow sport activities, but now include activities surrounding bicycling, camping, golf, hiking, tennis, and many more.

By cooperatively working together, with year-round activities, members of today’s MSC Clubs are enjoying more activities, staying healthier and continuing to benefit from the savings found when participating together in group events.
