We’re off to experience 4 of Utah’s “Mighty 5” National Parks. But before that, we will enjoy the water activities of Lake Powell. After checking in to the Lake Powell Resort, we will enjoy a 2 hour dinner cruise and lake orientation. We will have 2 full days to enjoy the lake’s activities, including skiing, jet skis, speed boating, kayaking and hiking. Tours of the Glen Canyon Dam and Antelope Canyon are available.
We’ll spend 3 nights in Moab, affording us 2 1/2 days there. We’ll enjoy watching the sunrise over the towering depths of Canyonlands National Park, then watching the sunset through an impossibly delicate rock bow in Arches National Park. An all-day class III & IV white water rafting adventure is available in nearby Westwater Canyon. Hiking and mountain biking are favorites among visitors in Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. The next 2 nights we will be in Springdale, located in Zion National Park. We’ll head to Bryce Canyon the day and enjoy a variety of hiking trails, or horseback riding and gazing down at coral-hued rock hoodoos. The next day, we’ll enjoy the activity of our choice in Zion National Park, including hiking, river rafting, biking, picnicking, exploring and gazing upward at the steep walls of slot canyon trails, or tackling the advanced trails of Angels Landing.
We will freshen up at the hotel after the day’s activities before we transfer to Las Vegas, spending some time there before our early morning flight home. Trip cost is $1625, including RT airfare to Las Vegas, lodging, transfers via rental vans, dinner cruise and admission to some parks. A $300 deposit is due to hold your reservation.
