Come join us for meet and skis at Welch Village on 7 January and 21 January (both are Thursdays). We will meet in front of the main chalet (not Mad Jaxx) at 5:30pm for some evening skiing! Note that 3M club Meet & Skis this year are simply that: meet up and ski. There is no prearranged food or gathering.
Calling all ‘golfers’!! Join your friends for a round of ‘Ice Golf’ on beautiful White Bear Lake! The 3M SBSC is looking for people to form a foursome (or two!) for the 2021 Bearly Open, a fun-filled annual ‘golf’ event held on White Bear Lake. Yes, on the lake, at Ramsey County Beach, 5050 Lake Avenue.
What’s that? You’re terrible at golf? No sweat – you’ll fit right in! Golf on a frozen course plowed out of the snow covering White Bear Lake, using any instrument available to propel a yellow tennis ball – examples include hockey sticks, tennis racquets, golf clubs, etc. Participants are encouraged to dress up, so we may get creative with themed attire! - The Bearly Open charges $31.25 per person for a round of 9 holes, with net proceeds supporting the White Bear Area Food Shelf. ! If you are interested in participating, please RSVP on our “Hootline” website by Friday, 8 January! Don’t worry about sending in any money yet, we’ll gauge RSVPs and contact participants directly. The exact tee time is unknown until we formally register, but we will target Saturday, February 6th between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm.
