Our club has enjoyed many bike rides and hikes this summer. Two weekend bike and golf trips to Nisswa and Lanesboro are very popular. The six “What’s Cookin” summer picnics at Brookview Park in Golden Valley were well attended with many “snow birds” renewing friendships.
On Sunday, August 29th, 138 members celebrated the “70 plus 1” Anniversary of the ULLR Ski, Bike and Social Club with a wonderful party at the Minnesota Valley Country Club. We had a fun evening of sharing memories and seeing old friends from the past several decades.
ULLR Ski for Light Foundation has donated over $150,000 since it was formed in 1975 to purchase adaptive equipment for individuals with disabilities.
We are excited for our fall/winter schedule of hiking, biking and skiing. The Western trip is headed to Big Sky on March 13-19, 2022. We have an excellent website, so please check out all our activities at www.ullr.org.
