We will hike at Theodore Wirth Park. Meet at the Beach parking lot at 11:15 am. 3200 Glenwood Ave, Golden Valley, MN
Bring a bag lunch. We will eat our lunch before the hike.
There are two options:
1) At 12:30, a park staff member will lead a tour of the Eloise Butler Gardens. Cost is $10. Pay on the day of the hike. Open to the first 10 who sign up. Please RSVP to Ruth Olson by May 1st.
2) A longer hike led by Karen Felton. Depending on trail conditions, the group can choose between the Wirth Lake Loop, an easy 1.4 mile paved trail, or the 1.6 mile Quaking Bog trail that consists of natural trails as well as boardwalks that cross the wettest areas.
