Ullrs’ popular monthly luncheons at Pittsburgh Blue, featuring prominent speakers, came to a close at the end of April. The summer picnics at Brookview Park in Golden Valley begin June 11th and continue monthly through August.
The weather on March 21st was ideal for a drive down along the Mississippi River to Wabasha to visit the National Eagle Center. We enjoyed a tour featuring a few of their resident eagles. We learned about both the history and the anatomy of the Bald Eagle. Join us!
Our hiking program included a hike of the Stillwater bridges – both old and new – along with lunch at Charlie’s Restaurant in the Water Street Inn. Ullrs never miss an opportunity to include food with their hikes.
Good Ol’ Days Resort in Nisswa, MN was again the ideal location for participants to gather to bike, hike, kayak, shop, or just relax. The company and the catered taco dinner were excellent.
The Ullr bike program offers a variety of rides, such as: Cannon Valley, St. Paul Capital and Marine on St. Croix, and Lanesboro.
