Ski Bunnies & Ski Bums!
Summer activities have come and gone once again
and it’s time to put our thoughts toward
2022- 2023 Yodelers Ski Season of fun!
Yodelers Annual Fall Party was held at Joseph’s Restaurant in St. Paul on Wednesday, September 14th, and was attended by 61 skiers. There was much discussion in planning this season’s trips.
Monday September 19th, 18 Yodelers participated in our Annual Golf Day. The autumn day was beautiful as the golfers found their way back to the club house to compare scores.
Fall is now! Check out the ski sales at your local ski shop and get ready for our favorite season – SKI TIME!
The Yodelers Annual Membership Party will be Wednesday, November 16th at DeGidio’s Restaurant in St. Paul. Join us and get details of the local and western trips.
The local ski days start at Trollhaugen Ski Area, Wednesday December 7th followed by Welch Village, Wednesday, January 11, 2023. We return to Trollhaugen on Wednesday, February 8th.
Yodelers’ first western trip will be to Aspen marking our 48th Annual trip on January 21st, 2023. The trip includes, 7 nights lodging, 6 days skiing, round trip air to Denver, Motor Coach transfers to Aspen and Denver. Group discounted lift tickets available.
Our second western trip is a return to Aspen on February 25th offering the same package as our first trip. All trips have space available to all members of the Midwest Sport and Ski Council (MSC).
Our weekend trip to the U.P. Michigan will be on February 17-19, 2023, this includes two nights lodging at Days Inn in Hurley, WI and 2 days of downhill, cross country skiing and/or snowshoe activities as available. The Indianhead and Blackjack areas have recently been purchased by Lutsen and Granite Peak owner, Charles Skinner, Jr. and he has renamed the resort to “Snow River Resort”. The Motor Coach will be leaving 3M at 6pm Friday, returning Sunday after skiing and group dinner. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition for our group this year.
